The chilly air is starting to roll in and I want nothing more than to cozy up with a sketchbook and watercolours and get creative! Join me this fall for 2 new kids’ drawing and painting classes in Salmon Arm.
The Deets:
Dates: WEDNESDAYS Sept 30 - Dec 16
Times: 3:30 - 5:00 for younger kids (6-10ish) and 5:30 - 7:00 for older kids (9 and upish)
Location: SASCU Rec Centre Basement Level, Room 3
Cost: $250 - All 12 sessions or $25 drop in.
Through creative exercises and play, we will be reviewing the basics with the seven Elements of Art using drawing and watercolours. Following is a suggested supply list, but I will always have supplies on hand for kids who are missing something. Space is limited on these classes, so please email me to get signed up :D
What are the Elements of Art? The elements include line, shape, form, space, value, texture and colour and are classically taught as the tools artists use to create images. We will also have some mini lessons on portraits, hands and feet and drawing animals.
